Field Service Technician

About the role

Ricoh is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver professional maintenance, repair and installation services for our customers. You will work on‑site, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring equipment operates reliably and customers are satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient maintenance, repair and installation of Ricoh equipment in line with service level agreements.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults using logical troubleshooting methods.
• Manage vehicle stock to improve first‑time fix rates and minimise losses.
• Identify business opportunities and promote professional services to maximise revenue.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic principles; familiarity with AC (230 V) and low‑voltage DC (24 V‑5 V) systems.
• Ability to use a multimeter for voltage and resistance measurements.
• Strong logical approach to fault finding and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with PC software for downloading/uploading firmware and configuring devices.
• Good communication skills to convey technical information and follow schematics.
