Finance Business Partner

About the role

Musgrave is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support its Marketplace sites and central functions. The role will act as a key finance partner to the Marketplace Sales Director, General Manager and operational leaders, delivering high‑quality commercial finance insight and driving profit‑before‑tax improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the production and distribution of weekly financial reports, providing commercial insight and trend analysis.
• Coordinate periodic management accounts, ensuring high‑quality output and timely delivery.
• Manage quarter‑end and year‑end processes for accruals, pre‑payments and account reconciliations.
• Build strong relationships with Marketplace and Central Support stakeholders, delivering analysis on performance, cost management and capital‑expenditure plans.
• Own budgeting and forecasting cycles, challenge assumptions and support continuous margin improvement.
• Present budget and forecast information to senior stakeholders and contribute to long‑term business planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance reporting, budgeting and forecasting within a commercial environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Anaplan planning tool.
