Finance Director – Aviation Catering

About the role

As Finance Director for dnata Catering & Retail Ireland, you will sit on the Executive Leadership Team and provide strategic financial leadership for a fast‑growing inflight catering operation serving airlines across Dublin, Cork and Shannon.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Managing Director and senior leaders to translate business strategy into financial plans, targets and actionable insights.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning and performance management, delivering clear KPIs and dashboards.
• Provide commercial and financial advice to drive revenue growth, profitability, cost optimisation and operational efficiency.
• Oversee financial reporting, governance, compliance and risk management across the Irish operations.
• Ensure robust financial controls and continuous performance improvement.
• Manage the finance function, including a team of finance professionals and the Head of IT.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior finance roles within a complex, operational environment.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and support strategic decision‑making.
• Strong track record of delivering accurate financial reporting and driving cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Experience in the aviation, catering or related service industry is a plus.
