Finance Manager – EMEA Data Center Finance

About the role

Amazon Web Services is looking for a Finance Manager to act as the strategic bridge between the EMEA Data Centre Finance team and the central FP&A organization in Seattle. You will own the coordination and narrative of EMEA data‑center investments and operations, supporting rapid growth driven by AI and cloud demand.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between EMEA Data Centre Finance and Seattle FP&A, coordinating planning cycles, tracking deliverables and communicating strategic financial narratives.
• Consolidate and analyse EMEA financial results during the monthly close, delivering clear commentary on variance drivers and performance trends to leadership.
• Build and maintain financial reports, forecasts and headcount planning models using financial systems and advanced Excel functions to analyse large data sets.
• Establish and monitor KPI metrics for business initiatives and operational performance, measuring progress with accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify and implement process improvements to automate, standardise and simplify finance workflows while resolving data discrepancies and enhancing data quality.

Required profile

• Passion for financial storytelling at a global scale.
• Proven experience in finance or FP&A within a large, fast‑growing organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally across construction, energy and operations teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables and data modelling).
