Finance Manager – Financial Services

About the role

Join a leading international financial services institution as a Finance Manager in Dublin, supporting European operations. You will be responsible for accurate month‑end close, financial reporting, regulatory compliance and driving finance transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage preparation and presentation of timely financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks, reporting findings to senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
• Create and enforce up‑to‑date financial policies and procedures across the organisation.
• Select, implement and maintain financial systems, collaborating with IT to integrate with enterprise solutions.
• Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory reports and support other departments in their reporting obligations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities during audits and examinations.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with roughly 4 years post‑qualification experience in group finance, financial reporting or finance operations.
• Experience in banking, financial services or another regulated industry is highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical ability with proficiency in spreadsheet‑based financial analysis.
• Good understanding of IT systems and databases; SAP and Oracle experience is an advantage.
• Team‑player who can contribute beyond core responsibilities and handle pressure to meet tight deadlines.
