Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to support the financial performance and operational effectiveness of our fast‑growing health‑tech business. This role will work closely with finance colleagues and business leaders to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and insightful cost analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate month‑end close, prepare financial statements and variance analysis.
• Produce board reporting packs and cash‑management reports.
• Maintain robust financial controls, reconcile balance‑sheet items and resolve variances.
• Assist with cash‑flow reporting, working‑capital monitoring and statutory financial statements.
• Lead indirect tax compliance, including VAT return preparation and filing.
• Support payroll processing, review payroll journals and ensure accurate month‑end entries.
• Manage intercompany accounting and group reporting across multiple entities.
• Document and improve financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Perform detailed cost and margin analysis, own gross‑margin reporting and partner with commercial teams on commissions and delivery costs.
• Identify and drive cost‑optimisation opportunities across the organisation.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with experience in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and build scalable finance processes.
• Motivated to contribute to the growth of a digital health company.
