Financial Accountant

About the role

This position offers a qualified accountant the chance to step up within a dynamic Irish finance team. You will gain broad exposure to the full accounting cycle, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow management and FP&A activities while working closely with senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Maintain bank, revenue and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare budgets and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Analyse trends, perform variance analysis and present findings.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Liaise with external auditors during audit periods.
• Support ad‑hoc finance projects as required.

Required profile

• Qualified accounting professional (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Proactive self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Motivated, innovative and ambitious.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
