Financial Accountant

About the role
This position offers a qualified accountant the chance to step up within a dynamic Irish finance team. You will gain broad exposure to the full accounting cycle, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow management and FP&A activities while working closely with senior management.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Maintain bank, revenue and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare budgets and cash‑flow forecasts.
- Analyse trends, perform variance analysis and present findings.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Liaise with external auditors during audit periods.
- Support ad‑hoc finance projects as required.
Required profile
- Qualified accounting professional (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
- Proactive self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Motivated, innovative and ambitious.
Required skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
