Financial Accountant

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing international SaaS technology company, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their Dublin office. The role is hands‑on and central to the day‑to‑day finance function, offering ownership of month‑end reporting, billing, cash‑flow forecasting and statutory compliance across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end management accounts and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Manage customer billing and order‑to‑cash processes.
• Maintain cash‑flow forecasts and recurring revenue reporting.
• Coordinate global payroll and pension processes.
• Prepare VAT returns and other statutory submissions.
• Drive process improvements through automation, ERP optimisation and AI tools.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience in financial accounting, preferably within a SaaS or technology business.
• Strong experience with month‑end close, reconciliations and billing.
• Commercially minded, detail‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Passion for improving finance processes through technology and AI.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• ERP experience – NetSuite preferred.
