Financial Accountant – Newly Qualified (Dublin)

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to join a high‑performing finance team in Dublin, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller. You will receive mentoring, structured development and clear career progression within a growing organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Assist with day‑to‑day finance operations and maintain strong financial controls.
• Partner with key departments to support commercial decision‑making.
• Conduct cost analysis and identify process‑improvement opportunities.
• Support banking compliance, cash‑flow forecasting and financial analysis.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and finance transformation projects.
• Work on ad‑hoc commercial and strategic projects across the finance function.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (Big 4/Top 10 trained) with 0‑2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong academic results and experience in audit senior or assistant manager roles, or as a financial accountant in a large organisation.
• Experience in a PLC or large corporate environment is beneficial.
• Proactive, commercially‑minded with strong interpersonal skills.
