Financial Accountant – North Dublin

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join a fast‑growing finance team in North Dublin. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for delivering accurate management accounts and supporting key financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and complete monthly management accounts.
• Prepare regional and divisional profit & loss statements.
• Produce detailed quarterly accounts within tight deadlines.
• Analyse budget variances and provide commentary.
• Prepare and distribute KPI reports to the leadership team.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and month‑end close.
• Maintain and report on the group’s fixed asset register.
• Ensure compliance with Revenue regulations.
• Assist with VAT, corporation tax and other tax matters.
• Manage the annual external audit.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Report monthly on key balance‑sheet items.

Required profile

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, initiative‑taking and flexible.
• Excellent multi‑tasking and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced Microsoft Word.
