About the role
We are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join a leading financial services organisation. The role combines technical accounting, financial reporting and process improvement within a high‑performing finance function.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and financial reporting.
- Manage key elements of the month‑end and year‑end close process.
- Support statutory accounts, audit and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain strong financial controls and governance in a controlled environment.
- Identify and implement process improvements, efficiencies and automation across finance.
- Investigate reporting issues and drive solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Required profile
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Strong financial accounting and financial statement production experience.
- Experience working within a controlled, process‑driven environment.
- Proven ability to improve processes and strengthen controls.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent stakeholder management skills.
