Financial Analyst (12 Month Contract)

About the role

Join a leading international financial services organisation in Dublin on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will support day‑to‑day finance operations, maintain strong financial controls, and contribute to accurate reporting in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, staff expenses and related payments.
• Prepare and post General Ledger journals.
• Complete bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigating outstanding items.
• Support daily finance operations, treasury and foreign‑exchange transactions as required.
• Assist with month‑end activities and ensure robust financial controls.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities across finance processes.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable or Banking Operations.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger postings, reconciliations and financial controls.
• Experience preparing journals, completing reconciliations and supporting month‑end activities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using finance or ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and confidence engaging with business stakeholders.
• Degree qualified in Finance, Business or a related discipline; financial services experience is a plus.
