Financial Controller

About the role

ProAmpac is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead financial performance across its Irish and UK operations. Based in Donegal with a hybrid work model, the Financial Controller will combine strategic influence with hands‑on operational control in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting for the region.
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support operational decisions.
• Manage and develop a high‑performing finance team of five.
• Drive ERP data accuracy and implement working‑capital improvement initiatives.
• Oversee audit, tax and statutory compliance activities.

Required profile

• CIMA (or equivalent) qualified with strong post‑qualification experience.
• Background in manufacturing or a similarly dynamic industry.
• Proactive, detail‑focused and commercially aware mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• SQL knowledge (ideal).
