Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will provide strategic financial direction, governance and operational control for EM3’s international business. Reporting to the Director‑Ireland, the role ensures financial integrity through planning, reporting, compliance, risk management and business partnering.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day finance operations and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Develop and maintain a robust financial control framework across all business activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and deliver detailed performance analysis to senior management.
• Monitor key financial metrics, identify trends and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
• Support the CFO in shaping financial strategy, long‑term planning and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, taxation and corporate‑governance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems and controls.
• Partner with senior leadership and international stakeholders to optimise financial performance.

Required profile

• Commercially minded finance professional with experience in a fast‑growing, international environment.
• Proven ability to lead finance teams and manage month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with capability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
