Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join OCS UK & Ireland’s finance team. The role will be based in the UK/Ireland and works Monday‑Friday, supporting the preparation of management and statutory accounts and ensuring compliance across payroll and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts in collaboration with the finance team.
• Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
• Partner with internal teams such as Sales, Operations, HR and Payroll.
• Ensure payroll compliance for reporting and statutory purposes.
• Deliver month‑end close in line with group reporting dates.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and external reporting timeframes.

Required profile

• Right to work in the EU.
• Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
• Experience working cross‑functionally with sales, operations, HR and payroll.
• Knowledge of taxation, including RCT.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills.
• Power BI proficiency.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (advantage).
• Payroll compliance knowledge.
• Taxation knowledge.
