Financial Controller

About the role
Working closely with the CFO, this senior position leads the full finance function of an international business. It offers broad exposure to reporting, treasury, team leadership, strategic planning and a seat at the decision‑making table.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and annual management accounts.
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
- Manage day‑to‑day treasury operations, cash‑flow forecasting and foreign‑exchange exposure.
- Own the annual audit process and ensure statutory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Enhance financial systems, processes and internal controls.
- Contribute to financial planning and strategic decision‑making.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 5‑10 years of senior‑level experience.
- Background in group finance, commercial finance or financial control.
- Proven experience leading or developing finance team members.
- Confident communicator comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
