Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance team in West Dublin. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for ensuring the organisation meets its financial objectives while supporting its ambitious growth plans over the next 3‑5 years.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and mentor the finance team.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed analysis.
• Produce annual statutory accounts.
• Conduct financial and commercial analysis.
• Manage tax and statutory returns.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Oversee the audit process.
• Monitor and enhance financial controls.
• Review and improve finance policies, procedures and controls, including IT system optimisation.
• Deliver project work and ad‑hoc analysis as required.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in the not‑for‑profit sector is desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
• Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative team mindset.
• Process‑oriented with a proactive, "can‑do" attitude.
