Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance function in Dublin. You will own day‑to‑day accounting operations, deliver accurate reporting and provide commercial insight to senior leadership as the business expands.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full finance function and oversee daily accounting activities.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and performance analysis.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management processes.
• Ensure accurate month‑end and year‑end reporting.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors, accountants and key stakeholders.
• Improve financial controls, systems and reporting processes.
• Provide commercial insights to support business decision‑making.
• Support senior management with financial planning and strategy.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or senior accountant.
• Strong experience preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Excellent knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Commercial mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the finance function.
• Experience in an SME or fast‑growing organisation is advantageous.
