Financial Controller – South East Ireland – €120k plus benefits

About the role

We are seeking a senior Financial Controller to join a market‑leading Irish company that is experiencing rapid growth. Based in the South East, you will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership, providing financial insight that drives strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, balance‑sheet reconciliations and year‑end accounts.
• Develop presentations and insightful financial analysis for senior management.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and long‑term strategic plans.
• Partner with operational teams to deliver financial support and commercial insights.
• Monitor overheads, identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive efficiency initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement projects within the finance function.
• Collaborate with the CFO on ad‑hoc commercial and strategic finance projects.
• Liaise with senior stakeholders and external advisors as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant.
• 10+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Training in a Big 4 or Top 10 accounting practice.
• Industry experience in a commercial business environment.
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Ambitious individual seeking long‑term progression.
