Food and Beverage Assistant

About the role

The Food & Beverage Assistant will support seamless, high‑quality service across all dining outlets of The Grace Westport Estate, a new hotel opening in Spring 2026 on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. The role contributes directly to the guest experience by delivering attentive, efficient and professional service in line with the estate’s hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver warm, personalised service to guests, present menus and guide them through offerings.
• Assist with table set‑up, service flow, clearing and maintain dining area cleanliness.
• Support food and beverage delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and consistent presentation.
• Restock service stations, linens and operational supplies as needed.
• Coordinate reservations, seating and communicate with the front desk.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service transitions.
• Follow daily checklists, SOPs and adhere to food hygiene, safety and allergen protocols.
• Participate in pre‑service briefings and support colleagues to uphold a high‑performing team environment.

Required profile

• Previous hospitality or customer‑facing experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills with a guest‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to service standards.
• Willingness to learn, take direction and grow within the food and beverage team.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
