Food Runner – Full‑time – Dublin

About the role

Join Big Mamma’s first Irish restaurant as a Food Runner, delivering a vibrant Italian dining experience to guests in Dublin. You will be an essential part of the floor team, ensuring food, drinks and desserts reach tables promptly while maintaining a warm, professional atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Carry plates, glasses and dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables.
• Serve wine, desserts and pasta directly to diners.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including polishing cutlery and folding napkins.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across the dining floor.
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for Italian cuisine.
• Strong team spirit and willingness to help colleagues during service.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Previous experience in hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
