Food Spot Attendant

About the role

Compass Group Ireland is looking for a dedicated Food Spot Attendant to support daily operations on a part‑time basis (22 hours per week, Monday‑Friday daytime). You will help maintain high standards of customer service, hygiene and safety across food displays, counters and vending areas.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer care and respond promptly to individual requests.
• Ensure all displays, counters, fridges and vending machines meet company and statutory requirements.
• Collect and relay customer feedback to the line manager.
• Promote safe working habits and adhere to health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment and dispose of waste correctly.
• Record and monitor temperature logs, reporting any variances.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Strong people skills and ability to build effective relationships at all team levels.
• Demonstrates Compass values and understands the client food programme.
• Independent yet collaborative, with a passion for food and customer service.
• Clear communicator able to interact with team members and middle management.
• Effective time‑management and prioritisation of operational standards.
