Forest Manager – South West Region

About the role
Euroforest Ireland is seeking a dedicated Forest Manager for its South West region. You will be responsible for delivering professional forest management services to existing clients and attracting new forest owners.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive forest management and advisory services.
- Recruit new forest owners and expand the client base.
- Supervise harvesting operations, daily transport, and road grant applications.
- Advise owners on best practices to maximise financial returns, especially for semi‑mature plantations.
- Maintain inventory, financial data, and report progress in weekly meetings.
- Manage marketing contracts, costing, pricing, and ensure health, safety and environmental standards.
Required profile
- Strong appreciation of commercial forestry.
- Highly organised, motivated and adaptable.
- Ability to work independently with good judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Full driving licence and strong IT proficiency.
Required skills
- Competence in GIS.
- IT skills.
