Fraud MI & Insights Analyst

About the role
AIB is building a world‑class fraud function and needs a skilled analyst to turn complex fraud data into clear, actionable insights. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, using data‑driven evidence to influence business decisions and improve fraud detection and prevention.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse payments, cards and operational datasets to uncover trends, risks and performance insights.
- Design, prototype and deliver scalable Power BI dashboards for fraud management, BAU operations, regulatory reporting and operational status.
- Collaborate with the Data Tribe to define data requirements and embed sustainable MI capability into BAU processes.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and alignment with business definitions.
- Drive automation, standardisation and continuous improvement of MI and reporting processes.
Required profile
- 4‑5 years of experience in data analysis and MI reporting within banking or financial services.
- Self‑driven, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, patterns and anomalies.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with SQL and large datasets.
- Proficiency in building and deploying Power BI dashboards.
- Strong knowledge of data visualisation best practices.
