Freelance Business Development Consultant – Cloud & DevOps

About the role

Essemvee Technology Services Limited is seeking independent, commission‑based Business Development Consultants to expand its enterprise client base worldwide. The role is fully remote, allowing you to manage your own schedule while targeting cloud modernization and DevOps projects for large organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect enterprise clients in your region (FinTech, SaaS, E‑Commerce, tech startups, legacy enterprises).
• Register Essemvee as an approved vendor within target organisations and procurement systems.
• Present core services such as Cloud Infrastructure Migration, CI/CD Pipeline Automation, MLOps, and Site Reliability Engineering to technical decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with the internal technical team to craft proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Drive leads from initial contact through negotiation to signed contracts.

Required profile

• Legally able to operate as an independent contractor in your country (e.g., W‑9/1099, Sole Trader, Freelancer status).
• Fluent professional English (written and spoken); additional regional language skills are a plus.
• Proven experience in enterprise sales or business development, preferably within IT, cloud or DevOps sectors.
