Front Office Receptionist – Boutique Hotel

About the role

Join the vibrant team at The Fleet Hotel, a historic boutique hotel in the heart of Dublin. As a Front Office Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for guests and play a key role in delivering a warm, professional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring a friendly first impression.
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
• Maintain a tidy reception area with necessary stationery and materials.
• Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries.
• Control access to the building, monitor the logbook and issue visitor badges.
• Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments.
• Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
• Address basic inquiries from guests and provide accurate information about the hotel.
• Update calendars and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a receptionist in a 4‑star hotel environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional demeanor.

Required skills

• Hotsoft experience (desirable).
