Frontend Developer (React)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer with deep expertise in React to join a remote‑first team supporting a partner company based in Ireland. You will build and maintain modern, user‑facing web applications, turning complex product requirements into intuitive, responsive interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable UI components using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Translate detailed UI/UX designs into accessible, high‑performance web pages.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product owners to ensure seamless integration.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices.
• Maintain and evolve existing codebases for long‑term stability.
• Implement automated testing with Cypress, Playwright, Storybook, and Chromatic.
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, including component structure, styling, and state management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on frontend development experience.
• Strong ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven track record of delivering production‑grade applications.
