Full‑stack Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Full‑stack Engineer to join a mission‑driven team building products at the intersection of technology, science and decentralized innovation. The role is remote‑first and focuses on creating scalable applications that connect researchers, communities and funding partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications for scientific communities.
• Build robust APIs, backend services, databases and scalable architectures.
• Collaborate with designers and product stakeholders to deliver intuitive user interfaces.
• Contribute to Web3 initiatives, including blockchain features and smart‑contract development where applicable.
• Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Help foster a strong engineering culture through knowledge sharing and pragmatic problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Versatile engineer comfortable working across the full technology stack.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with an execution‑focused approach.
• Experience in remote‑first, asynchronous teams and excellent written communication.
• Self‑starter able to manage tasks independently and influence technical direction.
• Interest in emerging fields such as Web3, decentralized technologies, biotechnology or open science.
