General Operator – Biofuel Production

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic General Operator to join our biofuel production team at our Nobber site. The role is full‑time and involves operating and monitoring the biodiesel manufacturing process, handling feedstock intake and product dispatch, and ensuring smooth plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Run and monitor the biodiesel process using the PLC system from the control room.
• Follow the daily production plan and adjust operations as required.
• Collect samples for laboratory analysis to maintain product quality.
• Perform line clearing, general housekeeping, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Dispatch finished biodiesel on schedule and manage off‑loading of feedstock to keep production running.
• Operate a shunter for internal material movements (training provided).

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, capable of meeting targets and deadlines.

• Physically active and able to perform manual tasks safely.
