Global Mobility & Tax Specialist

About the role

This newly created position sits within the Finance & Tax team of a fast‑growing organisation expanding across Europe. Reporting to the Finance Director and Tax Manager, you will act as the primary liaison between Operations Directors and the global workforce, ensuring smooth mobility and tax compliance for employees moving across borders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end global mobility processes, including planning, costings, documentation and tracking of short‑term, long‑term and permanent assignments.
• Serve as the main point of contact for employees, HR and stakeholders on mobility matters.
• Support expatriate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions and coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Administer tax equalisation, gross‑ups, social security obligations and ensure adherence to local employment tax regulations.
• Assist in designing expatriate compensation packages, benchmarking salaries and overseeing relocation allowances.
• Collaborate with Operations leadership to align mobility programmes with business needs and provide policy guidance.
• Maintain accurate reporting, records and continuously improve mobility policies and processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in global mobility and employment tax.
• Strong understanding of cross‑border taxation, payroll and compliance, including tax equalisation.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience working with stakeholders across multiple countries.
