Global Pharma Key Account Manager

About the role

FläktGroup Ireland is looking for a strategic Global Pharma Key Account Manager to lead growth with major pharmaceutical clients. Based in Cork, you will act as the commercial owner for assigned global accounts, positioning the company as a preferred partner for HVAC, clean‑air and controlled‑environment solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage assigned global pharmaceutical key accounts across regions, serving as the primary commercial contact.
• Develop and execute global account plans, set growth targets, and build opportunity pipelines.
• Identify and influence early‑stage pharma projects to ensure FläktGroup solutions are specified.
• Build senior‑level relationships with customers, EPCs, trade and industry organisations.
• Coordinate cross‑regional sales teams and internal stakeholders for consistent global execution.
• Lead framework agreements, preferred supplier programmes and global pricing strategies.
• Support and lead complex, high‑value global bids and negotiations.
• Monitor industry trends and translate customer needs into value‑adding solutions.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and account data in CRM systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering or a related technical discipline (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• 8–12+ years of B2B sales or key account management experience, preferably with multinational pharmaceutical customers.
• Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, cleanroom, HVAC or engineered solutions environments.
• Familiarity with GMP environments and cleanroom technology is advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems for regulated and critical environments.
• Experience with CRM and ERP tools such as Salesforce and SAP.
• Knowledge of cleanroom technology and GMP standards.
