Seasonal Part‑Time Sales Assistant – Retail

About the role

As the face of the store you will welcome customers and create a fun, engaging shopping experience. You’ll use your product knowledge to give personalised recommendations, perform demonstrations and hand out tailored samples. The role also involves maintaining the shop floor, managing stock and supporting in‑store events.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming store environment.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide personalised recommendations and product demonstrations.
• Deliver exceptional service by offering tailored samples and using in‑depth product knowledge.
• Assist in hosting inclusive in‑store events.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and visually appealing shop floor.
• Promote products creatively to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Manage stock levels efficiently, ensuring shelves are well‑stocked.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.

Required profile

• Focus on delivering a terrific customer experience, listening and asking questions to recommend the right products.
• Positive ‘can‑do’ attitude and enjoyment of teamwork.
• Strong communication skills for customer consultations and team interactions.
• Ability to receive and act on feedback for continuous improvement.
