Goods In Operative – Warehouse Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Goods In Operative to join our Corrib Food Products warehouse in Galway. The role involves handling chill and frozen deliveries, maintaining stock accuracy and supporting a safe, compliant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Replenish chill and frozen storage areas.
• Check‑in chill and frozen deliveries into the depot.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain up‑to‑date administration.
• Manage stock, process returns, damaged and out‑of‑date products.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety and security requirements.
• Maintain clean and tidy work areas and assist customers as needed.
• Attend monthly briefings/meetings and perform other duties as directed.

Required profile

• Good organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Proactive, highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Professional image and flexible attitude.
• Experience in a warehouse or goods‑in environment.
• Comfortable working in ambient, refrigerated and freezer environments.

Required skills

• Reach forklift operation with a current valid certificate (highly desirable).
• Working knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
