Graduate Accountant – Entry Level Finance Role

About the role

We are looking for a recent Accounting graduate to join our finance team. This graduate‑level position offers full training and mentorship, allowing you to develop practical skills across financial reporting, bookkeeping, budgeting and more.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and help maintain the general ledger.
• Contribute to month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Help prepare financial statements, management accounts and reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Support internal and external audit documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset and good numerical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
