Graduate Accountant

About the role
This permanent, full‑time position supports the financial operations of a growing group of companies in Killarney. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will focus on intercompany accounting while gaining broader commercial experience across multiple entities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage accounting records for several group companies.
- Prepare and reconcile intercompany accounts.
- Process supplier invoices, creditors and debtors.
- Complete bank, credit‑card and intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare VAT returns, journals, accruals and pre‑payments.
- Support month‑end and year‑end reporting.
- Maintain fixed‑asset registers and statutory records.
- Assist with budgeting, cash‑flow analysis and finance projects.
- Ensure accurate, audit‑ready financial records.
Required profile
- Part‑qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or Accounting Technician (ATI/AAT or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably in practice.
- Strong knowledge of double‑entry bookkeeping, VAT and reconciliations.
- Experience preparing company accounts and working across multiple entities.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities with high attention to detail.
