About the role
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Business Development Executive to join our client’s growing team in Dundalk. The role offers hands‑on experience across multiple business functions and is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain real‑world experience in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Identify key customers and build strong relationships to generate new sales opportunities and support year‑on‑year sales growth.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to reach target audiences through social media, conferences, exhibitions and other channels.
- Proactively engage with customers to generate leads, track projects, promote new business lines and drive sales performance.
- Champion new customer needs and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Manage the new‑customer sales pipeline and support incremental sales targets.
- Prepare regular reports on sales and business development activities, including progress against KPIs.
- Gather and provide competitor intelligence to support product costing, market development and product positioning strategies.
- Provide feedback on issues that may impact customer relationships and business performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support the development of innovative products and service offerings.
- Work closely with Marketing and Product Management teams to develop campaigns for new technologies and solutions.
Required profile
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with an interest in data and reporting; experience with Google Analytics or similar tools is beneficial.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CRM or CMS platforms is an advantage.
