Graduate Electrical Engineer – Transmission & Distribution

About the role

NeoDyne is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join its Transmission & Distribution team in Galway. Over a two‑year graduate programme you will work on real projects, develop core engineering skills and contribute to the design of critical power‑grid infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and calculate electrical systems for data centres and substations, including AIS/GIS stations from 20 kV to 220 kV.
• Specify high‑voltage equipment and perform related electrical calculations.
• Support the delivery of complex design packages for renewable generation, battery storage and large industrial loads.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on gas network and high‑voltage system projects.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (BEng/MEng) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong interest in power‑grid reliability, sustainability and energy infrastructure.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Galway for the duration of the programme.
