Group Finance Manager – €95k + Benefits

About the role

This senior finance position sits within a leading multinational corporation and reports directly to senior management. The role is designed for an accountant who wants to move away from pure reporting and into a commercial finance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a variety of analytical tasks and provide insights across multiple business units.
• Advise on accounting implications of business proposals and ensure compliance with financial standards.
• Prepare quarterly management accounts, balance‑sheet reconciliations and year‑end financial statements.
• Develop and maintain financial models, monthly forecasts and cash‑flow plans.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Review and prepare projects from a financial and commercial perspective.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analysis to support business decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with at least 4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong academic record and ability to work across multiple teams.
• Excellent commercial and financial analytical capabilities.
• Proven communication skills for interaction with executive management and non‑finance functions.
• Current experience as a financial analyst or commercial accountant in an SME or non‑PLC environment, seeking a PLC setting.
