Group Financial Internal Auditor

About the role

Join a high‑performing internal audit team within a FTSE‑listed global manufacturing group. You will be responsible for planning, executing and reporting on financial, operational and IT audits across the organisation’s worldwide subsidiary network.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on financial, operational and IT audits across the group's global subsidiary network.
• Evaluate risk management, IT and internal controls using a risk‑based approach.
• Build relationships with divisional and head‑office management, influencing decisions rather than merely reporting.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc investigations and special projects as directed by the Audit & Compliance Committee.

Required profile

• Irish‑trained Big 4 ACA qualification with 0‑2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Familiarity with IT General Controls and computer‑aided audit techniques.
• CIA or CFE qualification (or willingness to obtain it, fully supported).
• Comfortable with approximately 30 weeks of international travel per year, fully compensated and organised.
• Ability to work remotely when not travelling.
