Group Skills & Standards Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a Group Skills & Standards Trainer to deliver hospitality‑focused training across Dalata’s portfolio of hotels. Based in Dublin, you will travel to properties in Ireland, the UK and Europe, combining face‑to‑face workshops with virtual sessions to raise customer‑care standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver skills‑based training workshops for hotel teams, including pre‑opening programmes.
• Facilitate one‑to‑one and group sessions, focusing on customer care and high‑standard service.
• Adapt training delivery to diverse audiences and learning styles.
• Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, operational metrics and performance indicators.
• Conduct skills audits, identify development needs and support the creation of training materials.
• Deliver content for the Heart of Hospitality programme and assist with Train the Trainer, Stepping Up and Reach initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering skills‑based training in hospitality, preferably in food & beverage and accommodation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Full driving licence with access to a car.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated and able to work independently within a Group L&D team.

• PowerPoint – creating and delivering presentation‑based training material.
