Group Tax Manager – excellent work/life balance

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Group Tax Manager to join a leading semi‑state organisation in Dublin. The role sits within a best‑in‑class in‑house tax function and works closely with senior finance, legal, commercial and operational stakeholders to provide strategic tax advice.
Key responsibilities
- Business partnering – deliver commercially focused tax advice across all tax heads to finance, legal, commercial and operational teams.
- Strategic projects – support major transactions, business cases, negotiation strategies and forecasting from a tax perspective.
- Tax compliance – lead corporation tax compliance for Irish and UK subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
- Financial reporting – manage tax provisioning and ensure accurate tax reporting for statutory accounts, management reporting and forecasting.
- International tax – oversee transfer pricing documentation, Pillar II, Country‑by‑Country Reporting, Interest Limitation and related compliance requirements.
- Tax governance – maintain and enhance the Group Tax Governance and Control Framework while supporting tax risk management.
Required profile
- CTA qualified with at least 5 years of post‑qualification experience.
- Strong technical expertise in corporation tax and broader tax matters.
- Proven experience managing tax compliance, reporting, governance and stakeholder engagement in a large organisation or professional services firm.
- Analytical capability with experience using data analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, influencing and problem‑solving skills.
