Group Tax Manager

About the role

This is a high‑impact leadership position within an international group headquartered in Dublin. The Group Tax Manager will shape and execute the company’s tax strategy while working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team to support rapid growth and expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and manage tax risks across all relevant tax heads for the group.
• Lead tax compliance and oversee the annual tax compliance and advisory fee budget.
• Partner with external tax advisors and act as the internal subject‑matter expert on taxation matters related to M&A activity.
• Review and prepare tax due‑diligence reports, managing multi‑party due‑diligence processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Company Secretarial and Commercial teams, and engage with auditors, advisors and investors.
• Oversee preparation and review of legal documentation arising from tax structuring.
• Manage cross‑border transfer pricing, ensuring divisional compliance with head‑office margins and local documentation.
• Lead all interactions with Irish Revenue and other tax authorities in relevant jurisdictions.
• Support month‑end, quarterly and year‑end reporting for tax and treasury.

Required profile

• Qualified tax professional with experience in a multinational, preferably listed, group.
• Strong background in managing international tax matters across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Significant exposure to M&A activity and transaction‑related tax matters.
• Commercial acumen with a track record of supporting strategic decision‑making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
