Gym Instructor – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Gym Instructor to join Ocean Fitness Centre, located in the award‑winning 4‑star Salthill Hotel in Galway. This full‑time position offers the chance to deliver dynamic fitness programmes while enjoying stunning views of Galway Bay.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead engaging group fitness classes and programmes.
• Conduct personalised fitness assessments and create tailored training plans.
• Provide professional supervision on the gym floor, ensuring member safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain high facility standards, including water‑quality checks and reporting maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with a passionate team to promote a member‑focused environment.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Gym Instructor, Class Instructor and Personal Trainer certifications.
• Proven experience delivering group fitness classes.
• Strong communication skills and a motivating attitude.
• Ability to adapt programmes for all fitness levels.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, late shifts and weekends.
