Head of Finance

About the role

This is a senior, commercially‑focused finance leadership position within a market‑leading FMCG business. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape strategy, drive commercial performance and lead a high‑performing finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Business Partnering and FP&A across the organisation.
• Provide commercial finance expertise and strategic insight to the Executive Leadership Team.
• Evaluate inorganic growth opportunities, including acquisitions and investment cases.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning.
• Deliver clear analysis of business performance, identifying key risks and opportunities.
• Develop and execute a 5‑10‑year financial strategy to support sustainable growth.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• 10+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Previous experience in FMCG or Retail (highly desirable).
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate financial data into strategic insight.
• Proven track record of partnering with senior executives and influencing decisions.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
