Head of Group Financial Reporting

About the role

We are seeking an experienced senior finance professional to lead group‑wide financial reporting across multiple entities. In this high‑visibility position you will ensure accurate, timely reporting, robust internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts and annual statutory financial statements.
• Lead and continuously improve month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Drive process improvements and automation across financial reporting and finance operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies.
• Monitor tax legislation, accounting standards, and industry best practice.
• Partner with the Head of Commercial Finance to enhance reporting and analysis.
• Manage intercompany accounting, recharge agreements, and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
• Assist treasury activities, including banking relationships and working‑capital optimisation.
• Lead the annual external audit and manage auditor relationships.
• Implement and review internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Prepare board reports and presentations for the CFO.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant.
• 8‑10 years of senior financial reporting experience in a large multi‑entity environment.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leadership on financial strategy.
• Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
