Head of Sales & Customer Service

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head Sales and Customer Service for our operations in the Republic of Ireland. Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely with the Head of Sector Development & Growth, you will shape strategy, drive revenue growth and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver sales, revenue, retention and profitability targets across Ireland.
• Lead a value‑based sales approach focused on quality, innovation and long‑term partnerships.
• Convert tender and business‑development opportunities into profitable customer relationships.
• Oversee territory management, route planning and sales execution.
• Lead the customer service function to embed a customer‑centric culture and meet service standards.
• Collaborate with operations and logistics to ensure responsive service delivery.
• Coach and develop high‑performing Sales and Customer Service teams.
• Contribute to senior leadership discussions on business direction and organisational development.
• Drive commercial and service improvement initiatives, including adoption of CRM systems and the Kanpla platform.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in sales and customer service.
• Track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth and customer retention.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Experience shaping business strategy within a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using the Kanpla customer‑service platform.
