Head of Simplification Division (Luxembourg)

About the role

The Head of Simplification Division will lead the Bank’s efforts to streamline internal processes, improve efficiency and enhance staff experience, supporting the EIB Group’s strategic objectives. This senior position reports to the Director of the Group Strategy Department and requires regular presence at the Luxembourg headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategic direction and priorities of the Simplification Division, ensuring alignment with the EIB Group’s objectives.
• Identify, prioritize and advance simplification initiatives across the Group, focusing on high‑impact areas.
• Establish structured approaches to capture, assess and monitor simplification opportunities.
• Steer the Division’s work programme, mobilising internal and external resources to deliver timely, high‑quality outputs.
• Engage with Directorates and Services to foster collaboration and embed simplification efforts within broader strategic activities.
• Report progress and results to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in managing simplification or efficiency programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with senior management.
• Excellent analytical and project‑management capabilities.
• Experience in an international, multi‑cultural environment.
