Health Care Assistant – Full‑time at Silver Stream Care Centre

About the role

Silver Stream Healthcare Group is seeking compassionate Health Care Assistants to join its team at the Sugarloaf Care Centre in Kilmacanogue. In this full‑time, onsite position you will support elderly residents in their daily activities, ensuring dignity, comfort and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Implement personalized care plans to improve residents' quality of life.
• Provide personal assistance with hygiene, mobility and safe practices.
• Engage residents in social activities and promote a supportive atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver integrated, resident‑centred care.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Friendly, caring personality with excellent communication skills.
• Strong desire to support and uplift elderly residents.
• Reliability, empathy and commitment to high‑quality care.
• Preferred: FETAC Level 5 Care of the Elderly and at least one year of experience as a Healthcare Assistant.

Required skills

• Manual handling and patient moving techniques.
