Healthcare Assistant – Flexible Hours & Up to €21.50/hr

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Athenry, providing personalised support to clients in their homes. The role offers flexible hours, competitive pay and the chance to make a real difference in people’s daily lives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and meal preparation.
• Support mobility and encourage independence.
• Provide companionship, emotional support and monitor wellbeing.
• Report any concerns or changes in client condition to the care team.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.

Required profile

• Full Irish driving licence and reliable access to a car.
• QQI Level 5 or equivalent caring qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Positive, caring attitude with strong people‑skills.
• Experience in retail, hospitality or customer service is valued.
